  • Aloe leaf juice: derived from the Aloe vera plant, it is a succulent species originating in northern Africa. Used to soothe the skin and is a natural moisturizer.

  • Aniseed oil: hydrates skin, reduces spots and marks and helps smooth, evenly toned skin.

  • Butanediol: organic compound used as a solvent and conditioning agent.

  • Polysorbate 60: derived from the sugar in sorbitol, helps to keep ingredients combined and allows tan to disperse evenly.

  • Propylene glycol: organic, colorless, almost odorless compound. It depresses the freezing point of water. Used as a solvent and improves the tan's absorption into the skin.

  • Sodium metabisulfite: also known as sodium hydrogen sulfite, is commonly used as a food additive. It is used to prevent oxidation and preserve products, as it is a decoloring agent. Stops the tan from changing color and helps extend the shelf life of the tan.

  • Sorbital: skin calming antioxidant helping to balance the probiotics in the outer most layer of the skin, the microbiome and producing an even looking tan.

  • Witch hazel extract: derived from the leaves and bark of the Witch Hazel shrub. This native American shrub can be used to treat inflammation and in skin care as an astringent. It is composed of gallic acid, flavanols and phenolics. Used to minimize pores and create smoother looking skin.
